Overview

Palms & Paws Veterinary Center is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Santa Monica, California. The website was designed and developed to reflect the clinic’s modern, compassionate approach to pet healthcare while making it easy for pet owners to explore services, learn about the veterinary team, and schedule appointments. The platform highlights preventative care, urgent care services, diagnostics, surgery, and dental treatments offered by the clinic. Built with Next.js and hosted on Vercel, the site prioritizes performance, accessibility, and SEO so pet owners can quickly find the information they need. Custom Lottie animations were implemented throughout the interface to add subtle motion and visual engagement without sacrificing performance. Through careful optimization, lazy loading, and efficient rendering, the site maintains excellent Lighthouse performance scores while still providing a modern, animated user experience. The project included full UI/UX design, frontend development, infrastructure setup, and ongoing hosting and technical support. Since launching in 2022, the platform has continued to evolve with new features and improvements to support the growing veterinary practice and its community of pet owners.
